Be one of the first 200 supporters to have a seat on the first train to be hauled by No.567. Hurry, Hurry, Hurry if you wish to be one of the 200 passengers to ride behind 567 on its first public train. To be eligible you must be a Supporter. There are now only 15 seats left. Make sure of your seat on the elegant Victorian Express.

As the 567 Loco Group is a registered charity your membership contributions are eligible for Gift Aid giving a significant boost to the funding of the project.
Sponsor a component updated 1-Dec-2020
A very positive way to support the project is by sponsoring a component. The list of components requiring sponsorship will be updated periodically as components receive the required support and new components are added. This will ensure the smooth progression of building the locomotive. Following the success of the first round of sponsorships a new set of components for sponsorship is listed below.
● Bogie Wheel Tyres 4 off (3) @ £2,000
● Bogie Wheel Spokes 40 off (32) @ £150 each
● Bogie Hornblock Bolts & Nuts 36 off (13) @ £30 each
As sponsorships are received the number in brackets will indicate the number of components that remain to be sponsored
Most items all contribute to the building of bogie with the wheels forming most of the current opportunities. Beyond these the centre frame, axles, bearings and springs will still be required to complete the bogie.

Whether you are a Supporter or not you can make a donation large or small to speed the completion of No.567. Donations may be via a single lump sum or via a regular donation through a Standing Order. Such donations will be eligible for Gift Aid.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER
To complete the complex task of building a new steam locomotive volunteers are sought to support activities in a wide range of tasks. These include the following:

Marketing to promote the project

Ambassadors to man the 567 stand at various events

CAD draughtsmen and general fitters

Manufacturing skills particularly in machining, pattern making and casting to support the manufacture of components

A Head of Fundraising to direct fundraising acitivities
